• Where does your loved one stay?

  They would stay in Yorkshire, in the beautiful Yorkshire town of Snaith. Located on the boundaries between North, South , East and West Yorkshire. Our chapel of rest is in a cottage in the centre of the town. Many of the big direct cremation companies transport to a central hub, or warehouse somewhere in the country, most often, many miles from a loved ones home.

• Who answers the phone?

  We are always on the end of the line, a Yorkshire family and 3rd generation Funeral Directors. John, Mark and Michelle will always be around to answer your calls.

• Who collects from home?

  We do. The same people you talk to and a small team of staff in Snaith would attend, either at home, care home, or hospital.

• Who transports to crematorium?

  We do. The same team you have spoken to from the start would be responsible for taking your loved one to the crematorium, or burial site.

• Who completes paperwork?

  We do. All funerals have some paperwork associated with them. We will need your signature to complete this paperwork, which we can do digitally, or in person.

• What happens if family need help?

  Simply put - we help! Thats what we are here for, to guide you through one of the most difficult times in anyones lives.

• How do you transport a loved one?

  Most of the bigger Direct Cremation companies and even some of the smaller chains and independants prefer to use vans. We always use a hearse for the final journey.

• Who are we?

  A third generation Yorkshire Funeral Directors at the heart of our local community. We have undertaken 1000's of funerals from the simplest to the most complex. We understand that every person is unique and it is our job to allow you to celebrate that uniqueness in the simplest way, or through full celebrations of life.

• What about cremated remains?

  We can present them back to you however you would like. They are often returned to us from the crematorium in a nice cardboard box, but we can happily transfer into something of your choosing. We can bring back to you, you can come to us. Whichever suits you.
